New Store Coming To Eastview Mall

Victor, N.Y. - Wilmorite has announced that retailer Von Maur will be moving into the soon-to-be vacated Bon-Ton store at Eastview Mall.

Wilmorite describes Von Maur as a high-end department that offers specialty and desinger brand name fashion, shoes, gifts and accessories.

It's the first location of Iowa-based Von Maur in the northeastern United States.

When the store opens in 2013, it will create approximately 200 new jobs, more than twice the amount of employees Bon-Ton has at Eastview Mall. Construction will create 144 new jobs.

Last week, Bon-Ton announced plans to close its stores at Eastview Mall, Greece Ridge Center, and Marketplace Mall. The Victor and Greece stores will close next year. The Henrietta location will remain open until 2014.

Von Maur will demolish the current Bon-Ton building and create a larger space for its Eastview store.

Wilmorite has not announced when it plans to announce the tenants to replace Bon-Ton stores in Greece or Henrietta.
