The JC Penney department store in the Eastview Mall in Victor is undergoing a $3 million renovation, adding a full-service Sephora boutique inside the store among other changes.
The Sephora addition will be located in the store’s center and will offer makeup, skin care, perfume and other products. The renovated store will also add two shop-within-a-shop features — MNG By Mango, a women’s apparel and accessories outlet, and Call it Spring, which is The Aldo Group’s brand for footwear and handbags.
The refurbishment of the store will include improved lighting, new signage and graphics, new carpet and tiles, upgraded fitting rooms and a revised customer service area called jcp services.
Work is expected to conclude in August. The department store will remain open during the construction, a mall spokesperson said.
The project at the Eastview store is part of a $650 million capital improvement program that JC Penney will carry out this year.
