May 15, 2026 – Rochester, NY – Eastview Mall proudly announces the opening of three highly anticipated merchants – Newbury Comics, Auntie Anne’s 2, and Capital One Café. This is the first and only location for Newbury Comics in the Greater Rochester Area, and the first and only Capital One Café location in New York outside of New York City.

Now open just outside Dick’s House of Sport, Capital One Café is where banking and caffeinating happen together – guests can do everyday banking and get in-person support while enjoying world-class coffee and delicious food options. Capital One Café’s new 3,758 square foot storefront offers welcoming space to get work done, including community meeting rooms available for reservation and free Wi-Fi. Everyone is welcome at Capital One Café whether they bank with the company or not, though Capital One cardholders receive 50% off handcrafted beverages when using their card. Capital One Café softly opened their doors for customers on Thursday, May 14th; the café’s Grand Opening is scheduled for next month with more details to come.

Popular Northeast retailer Newbury Comics – an entertainment and pop culture destination – opened in Main Court next to JD Sports on Saturday, April 25th with a Grand Opening scheduled later this month. Occupying 4,388 square feet, Newbury Comics is packed with Blind Boxes full of surprises, racks of comic books, bins of Vinyl and CDs, stacks of Graphic Novels and Manga, and thousands of Trading Cards to collect. Originally founded in Boston, Newbury Comics’ mission is to provide an eclectic and high-quality shopping experience that connects fans with the music, comics, and pop culture icons they love. Previous retailer, FYE has relocated to the Macy’s Wing.

Longtime shopping mall staple, Auntie Anne’s expanded and opened a second location at Eastview on Thursday, April 9th. The Auntie Anne’s location outside the Food Court remains open. The new 840 square foot storefront can be found next to Claire’s, around the corner from Dick’s House of sport. Auntie Anne’s 2 offers their world famous hand-baked pretzels, lemonades, dips, and specialty menu items. 

In the last fourteen months, Eastview has announced twenty new merchants to the tenant mix. Of those, eighteen – Brooks Brothers, Pac Sun, Bespoke Menswear, Aur Society, Below Zero Spa, Fabletics, Rowan, Fries Fries Fries, Express, Swarovski, Lolli & Pops, Urban Planet, Perfumania, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, InTune Supper Club, Auntie Anne’s 2, Newbury Comics, and Capital One Café – have opened their doors, and two –Mouna Jewelers, and Bass Pro Outpost – are under construction.
